Search Engine Optimization

SEO that earns enquiries, not just rankings.

Rankings are the entry ticket. We engineer your site so search engines understand it, customers trust it and AI engines can quote it, then measure success in enquiries.

What are SEO services?

SEO (search engine optimization) services improve how easily search engines crawl, understand and rank your website for the searches your customers make. Flags Digital's SEO covers technical health, site architecture, keyword-to-intent mapping, content, local SEO, international and multilingual SEO, and authority building, and it is designed so the same pages also qualify for Google AI Overviews and AI-assistant citations.

The numbers behind the shift

53%

of mobile visits are abandoned if a page takes over 3 seconds to load [1]

−61%

drop in organic CTR on queries that show an AI Overview [2]

+35%

more organic clicks for brands cited inside the AI Overview [2]

Why does SEO still matter if AI answers the question?

Because AI answers are assembled from pages search engines already trust. Seer Interactive found organic click-through rates fell 61% on queries showing an AI Overview. Brands cited inside that overview, however, earned 35% more organic clicks and 91% more paid clicks than those left out.[2] SEO is how you get into the pool of pages an AI is willing to cite.

Which keywords are still worth chasing?

The ones closest to a decision. Informational queries (“what is…”) are increasingly answered on the results page itself. Commercial and transactional queries (“best supplier of…”, “cost of…”, “X vs Y”, “near me”) still drive clicks and enquiries. We map every target query to a buyer stage and to one best page, and we tell you when a high-volume keyword is not worth the effort.

What does a modern SEO programme include?

Four layers working together. Technical SEO covers crawlability, Core Web Vitals, mobile performance, indexation, structured data and AI-crawler access. Architecture means topic clusters and internal links that demonstrate expertise. Content is mapped to buyer intent, not just keyword volume. Authority is earned through digital PR and credible mentions.

How is SEO different for B2B, local and international businesses?

B2B buyers search in long, specific questions and compare vendors over weeks, so content must answer evaluation-stage questions honestly and in depth. Local businesses live and die by their Google Business Profile, reviews and proximity: BrightLocal's 2026 survey found 97% of consumers read reviews for local businesses.[3] Brands selling across several countries need hreflang, localised pages and market-specific facts, so the right page ranks in the right country and language.

Point of view

The Flags take

Keyword rankings are a vanity metric if they do not bring enquiries. We report on qualified leads, high-intent rankings and AI-answer citations, and we will tell you when a keyword is not worth chasing.

  • Fix the technical foundation before publishing anything new. Content on a slow, badly indexed site is wasted.
  • One best page per buyer question. Five thin pages competing for the same query is the most common SEO mistake we audit.
  • Every SEO page should now be written to be quoted by AI as well as ranked by Google.

Frequently asked questions

SEO basics

What does an SEO agency actually do?

An SEO agency audits and fixes your website's technical health, researches what your customers search for, maps those searches to the right pages, improves and creates content, builds authority through links and mentions, and reports on results. Flags Digital also optimises the same pages for Google AI Overviews and AI assistants.

What are the three main types of SEO?

Technical SEO (how well search engines can crawl and index your site), on-page SEO (the content and structure of each page) and off-page SEO (the authority your brand earns from other sites, mentions and reviews). Local and international SEO apply all three to specific places and languages.

Is SEO dead because of AI?

No. AI Overviews and assistants draw on pages search engines already rank and trust. What is changing is that informational clicks are falling, so SEO has to focus on high-intent queries and on being cited inside AI answers.

What is local SEO and does my business need it?

Local SEO helps you appear in Google Maps and “near me” searches through your Google Business Profile, reviews, local citations and location pages. Any business that serves customers in specific cities, such as clinics, schools, showrooms, real estate projects or service companies, needs it.

Cost and timelines

How much does SEO cost per month in India?

A 2026 GoodFirms survey of more than 300 agencies found South Asian SEO retainers typically range from about US$500 to US$2,000 or more a month, with most agencies worldwide charging US$1,500–5,000. Cost depends on site size, competition, the number of cities or countries and content volume. Flags Digital quotes a fixed monthly scope after a free audit.

How long does SEO take to show results?

Technical fixes can lift visibility within weeks, but meaningful ranking and lead growth usually takes four to six months, depending on competition, site history and the content and authority work needed.

Why is cheap SEO risky?

Very low-cost packages usually rely on bulk links, templated content or automated reports. These can trigger Google spam penalties and do nothing for AI visibility. Ask exactly what will be done each month and how success will be measured.

Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

No. Google warns against anyone who guarantees rankings. We commit to a transparent plan, agreed KPIs and monthly reporting on rankings, enquiries and AI citations.

Choosing an SEO company

How do I choose the best SEO company in India?

Ask for a technical audit before you sign, examples of results in your sector, how they handle AI Overviews and AI assistants, who will actually work on your account, and how they report on enquiries rather than just rankings. Avoid anyone who guarantees positions or sells links by the hundred.

What questions should I ask an SEO agency before hiring?

What will you fix in the first 30 days? How will you measure success? Who is my day-to-day contact? How do you earn links? How do you optimise for AI Overviews and ChatGPT? Can I see a sample monthly report? Is there a minimum term?

Is Flags a good SEO company in Noida and Delhi NCR?

Working with Flags

Will SEO help us appear in Google AI Overviews?

It is a prerequisite. AI Overviews draw on pages Google can crawl and trust. We add answer-ready formatting, schema and citable evidence so the same pages qualify for AI Overviews and answer engines.

Do you write the content or do we?

Either works. Our writers can produce the content, or we can brief your subject-matter experts and edit for search and answer-readiness. Expert input almost always improves results.

Can you do SEO for multiple cities or countries?

Yes. We build city and country landing pages, set up hreflang for multilingual sites and localise content and entity facts for each market.

Will SEO help our Google Ads?

Often, yes. Seer Interactive found brands cited in AI Overviews earned 91% more paid clicks on the same queries than uncited brands.
